Zoran Djindjic Internship Program of German Business

Since 2004 the Zoran Djindjic Foundation, together with the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations (OA), the Federal Ministry for economic cooperation and development (BMZ) and the Geselschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) has been taking part in the implementation of the Zoran Djindjic Internship Program of German Business, the aim of which is to give to qualified young people the chance to gain three to six months of vocational experience in some of the best-known German companies.

The candidates who are eligible to apply are:

  • Undergraduate students who are enrolled in the 5th semester or higher when applying
  • Master or Ph.D. students and young graduates who graduated after January 1st, 2017.

The applicants should generally not be older than 29 years.

A group of some thirty young people travels to Germany, where they spend time gaining work experience in companies such as Commerzbank, Allianz and Deutsche Bank. Their stay in Germany enables them to learn about the organizational structure, business procedures, and operation of large, successful German companies, in order to later transfer this knowledge and experience into their future jobs in Serbia.
