Zoran Djindjic Foundation organized in cooperation with Faculty of Political Sciences, Zoran Djindjic Regional school of political philosophy in Belgrade from October21th till October 27th 2018. This year focus was on the Delimitation in the compound societies.
The goal of the 6th Zoran Djindjic Regional school of the political philosophy was to gather 20 students of social sciences from the Western Balkan region (Croatia, Bosna and Hercegovina, Montenegro and Serbia) who was going to study,analyze and discuss the concept in the issues of the delimitation in the compound societies. The delimitation is very important topic for understanding of Zoran Djindjic's political philosophy whose the most important political literary works (such Yugoslavia as an incomplete state) are dedicated to this topic
During seven-day stay in Belgrade, 20 participants from Western Balkan region attended the lectures of eminent experts: Djordje Pavicevic, Milan Podunavac, Luka Ribarevic, Sinisa Tatalovic, Nerzuk Curaka, Vladimir Pavicevic, Marko Simendic, Milos Petrovic, Bojan Vranic, Dusan Spasojevic,Milos Hrnjaz, Stefana Surlic i Nikola Beljinac

Call for Application for the Zoran Djindjic Internship Programme of the German Business 2019

The Zoran Djindjic Foundation in the cooperation with the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations (OA), the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the Geselschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) announces the call for the application for the Zoran Djindjic Internship Programme of German Busines for the generation 2019.

The candidates who are eligible to apply are:

Undergraduate students who are enrolled in the 5th semester or higher when applying
Master or PhD students and young graduates who graduated after January 1st, 2018.
The applicants should generally not be older than 29 years.

The objective of the Programme is to provide internships for 75 qualified candidates from Western Balkan  in German enterprises for a period of three or six months in Germany. The internships will start on July 1st, 2019.Their field of studies should have a focus either on economics, business administration, the various fields of engineering, journalism or agriculture.

The Programme was established in 2003 after the assassination of the first democratically elected Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic. The aim of the Programme is to preserve the legacy of Zoran Djindjic and to bring the region, Serbia and its people closer to the European Union.

The necessary documents for the application include:

Curriculum vitae in German or English (please use the provided template on the website of the programme)
Letter of motivation in German or English
Portrait photo
Scanned transcript of records
Translation of transcript of records in German or English. The documents can be translated by you, not necesarrily by an official translator.
Two recommendation letters.

The 11th Regional Alumni conference

This year the 11th Regional Alumni conference took place on Silver lake in Serbia September 27th til 30th, 2018.

The conference was opened by the reception in the hotel Crowne Plaza in Belgrade. The guest were adressed by the alumni, Ruzica Pavlovic Djindjic, direcor of the Zoran Djindjic Foundation), Michael Harms (Chairman of the board og the East Committee-East European Association of German business) and Ana Brnabic, Prime minister of the Republic of Serbia).

The working part of the conference started on Friday .The alumni had an opportunity to actively participate in the lecture held by prof Vladimir Pavicevic. The subject of the lecture was Who was Zoran Djindjic. The third day of the conference was intended for exploring of the treasures of the Eastern Serbia.
